About our hand dyed yarns

The yarns that we hand dye or hand paint are not necessarily only for socks.  I've chosen them because of their qualities for sock yarns, but they also make beautiful scarves, hats, mittens, etc.
The cotton/wool/lycra yarn was plied especially for me at a mill.
The Monarch/Lacewing and BFL yarns are our own, too.
I don't know that you'll be able to find anything exactly like them anywhere else.

A wonderful knitting yarn for hand or machine knitting!

I've been asked why I call my yarns, Fly Dyed.
That's because our last name is Fly  :)

Please check out our Yarn & Dyeing FAQ page for info on our hand dyeing.

- Also our Yarn Links Page for shops that carry our yarns and our favorite bloggers.
