There were two types of Verdun Sock Knitting Machines made in Canada.
One was the same as the black Legare 47 and the other was a grey sock knitting machine that had automatic lifts for doing the heels and the toes.

They both frequently came with a 6 or 8 hole yarn mast for doing argyle socks
 or using many colors of yarns
