Some photos of the Harley Kay Sock Knitting Machine.
These industrial sock machines are very heavy and were "built like a tank".
If you are using the cylinder/base without the ribber, regular auto knitter
needles should work just fine.
But if switching out to the ribber, you will need
the original needles.
I haven't gotten to using my ribber with
it yet, but have posted a few pictures of the machine with the ribber,
so
you can see how it's set up.
It's a conical ribber, like the Tryon/Tuttle used.
The ribber is attached with a wing nut.
The machine has to be bolted to a table, unless it comes with it's stand. (see
below)
