Carefully study these illustrations to see the application of the Tabulator, the position
it should always be in when used, etc. Remove the screw which holds the Crank Wheel at"D"and in its place use the screw which is with the Tabulator putting it on securely. First—remove the burr or nut from the Tab- ulator screw and place on it instead, the washer taken off of the Machine. The Tabulator Dial must turn freely and always remember when it is first placed on the Machine and when it is set to tabulate the rounds of knitting that one of the points of the star has to be in an upright position so that the Crank Handle will strike it correctly, and also the pointer which turns the Dial must be pointing down into one of the notches, otherwise the Tabulator will become damaged and out of service. Always watch this carefully. |
